Counselling Services

Counselling provides a space to explore issues and difficulties in a safe and confidential environment; an opportunity to work towards resolution and healing.

It gives an opportunity to share thoughts and feelings with someone who is trained to really hear the spoken - and the unspoken.

The relationship that is built between my client and me as counsellor gives the opportunity for the client to be absolutely who they are without fear of rejection or judgement, often for the first time ever.

In the security of our relationship the client becomes able to talk freely about their life and feelings in a way that is rarely possible or helpful with family or friends.

Together we are able to explore issues in an in-depth manner and work towards resolution and healing.

My clients report that:

  • They feel truly heard - this in itself can be a powerful force for change.
  • They come to terms with painful experiences in their past.
  • They become more self aware.
  • They have a better understanding of their part in their relationships.
  • They are able to identify and change unhelpful behaviour patterns.
  • They are able to set goals and achieve them.
